Edward H. Manley is a retired Navy Lt Commander, President of the International Food Service Executives Association for 18 years, and currently the 2nd ever President-Emeritus of the International Food Service Executives Association. He founded the Veteran's Support Network, whose main task has been training and certifying homeless veterans. And he is President of the Foodservice Institute, which has certified over 6500 people, who earned over 12,500 certifications .
Ed is a graduate of the Cornell Hotel School, and has a Master's from Rollins College. Ed resides in Las Vegas, NV and is married to Sharleen.

David Zander is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, who spent 24 years as the Chef on submarines, spending 17 of those years where he and the boat were under the water. He attended our class, earning food safety, Master Certified Food Executive, and HACCP. When he retired from the Navy, he was praying for a $55,000 job. He submitted an application for a job with a grocery chain, which was having major food safety issues with their Deli and Bakery departments. When they saw HACCP on his resume, they hired Dave at $85,000. He went on to manage their stores. Dave has worked with FSI for over 10 years.
